Adhesive Chrome Letters for Cars in Gloss Black: Stealth Mode On
Blacked-out grilles, black wheels, black badges. Gloss black italic letters let you spell anything and keep the stealth look going.
Shhh. The car is in stealth mode.
You blacked out the grille. You swapped to black wheels. You even debadged the trunk. And then you stood back and realized the car still needed a name, just a quiet one. Meet our Style 2 BLACK italic letters: the same adhesive chrome letters for cars that people love, in a deep gloss black that whispers instead of shouts.
What you get
The Style 2 Italic BLACK collection has three parts:
- Letters A-Z, 1.2 inches tall, in a slanted italic block style.
- Numbers 0-9 in the same style and height.
- Punctuation so your apostrophes and dashes match too.
Every character is sold individually at $2.95. Type your text on the product page, pick the characters you need, and you only pay for the letters you actually use. They are made from automotive-grade injection molded ABS, with adhesive already on the back.
Ideas for a blacked-out build
- A nickname on the trunk lid opposite the model badge, like SHADOW or NIGHT.
- A model trim name to replace a factory badge you removed.
- Initials on a black glove box door or center console.
- A garage door frame or man-cave bar sign in matching black.
Italic letters lean forward, so they look fast even when parked. Keep the word short, about eight or nine letters at most, so it stays easy to read.
Mix the finishes
Black letters pair nicely with a single bright chrome accent. Try black lettering with a chrome emblem from our sister shop, or black lettering on a silver car for crisp contrast. On a black car, gloss black on black paint gives the subtle, tone-on-tone look that is very popular right now.
Ships fast, right on time for the holidays
These are stock letters, and in-stock orders ship the next business day, which makes them an easy stocking stuffer for the car person in your life. Standard shipping is free on U.S. orders over $55 USD, and Priority shipping is available at checkout if the holiday clock is ticking.

Our most-ordered sets are the block and italic styles in our chrome letters and numbers collection. Many buyers pair a word with a matching badge from our chrome emblems, and finish the project with a few stickers and decals.
